Another common blackhat SEO trick is using thousands of doorway pages with lots of 'unique' content and matching keywords generated by PHP scripts. These pages use sneaky redirects to the main domain or another domain. In short, when the page served to the search engine robot is different from the page you serve to your readers, you'll invite wrath of Google.

Another trick similar to the one above is to create small sites that focus on a specific search term then link to the bigger main site. This is often done to rank well for the targeted term and to inflate the link popularity of the main site. Google will catch this method no problem. Other SEs still seem to let this stuff slide.

Well search engines like Google will say that they don't favor black hat SEO tricks, but still they will promote your black hat tricks for dollars.
Just google for the term 'doorway page generator' and you will see about 20 ads !! Where is the integrity of Google?

Hey guys jus forget about all type of SEO. Think about your visitor. They enter into your site for searching the information they required. So feed them with relevant information. Normal visitors do not understand SEO. They use search engines, for collecting information, search engines provide list of sites to provide the information. That's it. Instead of spending time on SEO invest time and resources on visitors analysis. I hope that will yeild best results for you and for your visitors too.

I really have bvecome skeptical of google checking for black hat techniques. In the last few months I have come across at least 3 sites that used same colour text on background colour??
google says they can pick that up but I am begining to wonder if we have all just believed it because they said so and that is what got people to stop doing it?
thoughts?
