Semrush vs Ahrefs vs Seomoz vs Majestic seo

What you prefer? If you could choose only one program to get best info about backlinks, which would you choose and why?

I would definitely choose semrush. It has by the best way to analyze your competitors backlinks. I started using it a couple of months ago and I fell in love with it. You will get to know all the backlink sources as well as for what keywords a particular site is receiving more traffic.

Best is none of the above mentioned, use webmaster tools instead. They did not came from google and they rely on assumptions. For example MOZ even confirmed it, LOL:

I would definitely go for Majestic, because Semrush and Ahrefs don't work properly for some of my websites that are built on new generic top-level domains (such as .reviews and .tech) and Moz Open Site Explorer doesn't work at all for most new gTLDs.

You will get wildly different results from all of them. I know as I use them all to compare sites and the results are very different.

Webmaster tools (Google console) is actually quite poor too.

Webmaster tools? I need to find the backlinks of my competitors. How WT can help me?

Semrush is fine, but I'm not sure if SM is worth to check the websites in my country (Poland). For US I'm sure that SM is great.

I wrote: "If you could choose only one program to get best info about backlinks". Is not it obvious that I also want to get info about competitor backlinks?

Nevermind, it doesn't matter..

No its not obvious. There are many types of back link. Hence why you didn't get the answer you wanted.

Maybe ask your question in a clearer way to get the answer you want, then you don't ask again.

Ahrefs for the win! Some SEO agencies even use it, too!

I choose Ahref because it is wonderful but the cost of the tool is very much high. The biggest advantage of Ahref is largest backlink index.

How is it helpful? Since you are using it, try to get detailed. For starters I don't have an account there so I'd like to know how great it is from someone who knows the ins and outs of it.

Never mind about SEO agencies, Why did you pick Ahrefs? Explain why.

You didn't read the opening post. Also do not guess on here. That's one way to give out poor SEO advice.

Have you used both of these before? If so, explain why you love it..

i use them both, semrush very very bad link checker!
I would not advise to use it for your monitoring (and/or building) inbound links, semrush will not show all linksdata, at least as well as ahrefs!

Seomoz and Majestic i - didn't use.

I use Moz to check PA/DA, ahrefs to check backlink. Because they're easy to use. I think it's enough. Please don't spend much time to check tool, it's important that you care about building backlink

Ahrefs is good for check backlink. It found 2.27% more links than its closest competitor Majestic SEO. But it is expensive for personal.
