The most ethical way of link building is creating great contents and sharing with others so that people read your articles engage with them and share with others creating natural links to your pages. Another way is broken linkbuilding and quality guest posting.
Guest post is the last method for link building strategy.
1) The first step is build relationship before building backlinks.
If you know the right way to interact with other bloggers amount the community, I believe you don't to write guest post in order to get backlinks.
Read the above article. A blogger mentioned my email communication on her blog. As remember, I answer her question regarding email marketing.
2) Another most favority link build method is blog comment.
I have over 30 dofollow commentluv blog in my bookmarked folder. So every time they publish a new post, my comment will there. Of course, commenting is great ways to build backlink, but hope you do it right.
Once you often leave the comment on other bloggers' blogs. It leads you to another strategy.
3. The guest post.
4. Ask for backlink.
I have lots of friends are bloggers. I just pm them a short message such as "hey, bro. I'm trying to rank this article. Any relevant please link to it."
You know, what they said?
They said, "bro, check my blog and lets me know which post you want link."
That's it. So simple.
@kimseasok Your answer are always in perfect words, which stick me to read whatever you writes. I like all the points you write about.
Can I have that dofollow commentluv blog comment sites list.
guest posting on authority site is most popular SEO link-building techniques.
I just want to highlight that a bunch of low-quality or spam sites have latched on to “guest blogging” as their link-building strategy, and we see a lot more spammy attempts to do guest blogging. Because of that, I’d recommend skepticism (or at least caution) when someone reaches out and offers you a guest blog article.
In short, the post from Cutts was a continuation of what Google’s been long saying. It wants to reward sites that have “earned” links, rather than sites that have gained links without any real effort. Places that publish anything submitted to them as “guest posts” are just one example of links that aren’t really earned.
What has been proven to be the most effective way to build backlinks for you personally?
In regards to the opening thread, I personally have found answering questions that can help someone's sincere/real problem be effective to a small degree. Typically people in the community will appreciate an answer that helps them with an issue, problem or a dilemma. Some of the questions could be tech related, Seo related, website related or something out of left-field like.......... guava nuts. If I know an answer that can be of use, I will try to post something that might be of benefit to the topic. Sometimes I hit the mark and sometimes I do not.
The idea to do so came from an old video I saw from the guy below. It's an old video but in my opinion an oldie but goodie.
I don't know which one as I try to change this up a little every month so I don't sound like a robot. lol
This month the focus is on:
1 PPT Submission and Promotion
5 to 7 Blog Link Promotion (a friend of mine is going to do this for me, he won't do it for free)
Directory Submission (quality ones that I am hand picking with each title and description being different)
Search engine submission (resubmitting the blogs to a ton of search engines as I have not done this in a few years.... get the bot's to visit to reindex)
Tiny week long campaign with adwords (Not a link building method but will get some eyeballs at least... or I just waste mony for nothing)
Next month, I might not be doing half of those above as I am trying to do something different so I don't get bored or be like a robot doing the same thing. Plus I monitor what I am doing to see if it's failing and get make corrections if it is as in remove the links.
I am thinking about creating a video and try to get that ranked but I am still reading up on the video ranking crap and still have not worked out on paper what I will be doing on it or how long it will be. I've never done this before and like a challenge because I am going to learn something new and prolly have a big learning curve as I am not perfect.
I completely stopped all the activities from last few years as I mostly focused on fixing website technical errors including call you action, responsiveness etc. with technical experts and suggesting some pointers to our content team with some referrals apart from this I listen to client queries and try to make it solve with best of mine findings.
But after reading your posts and few from others I really want to start backlinks. Thank you, sir, for giving your inputs on this.

from my opinion web 2.0, Document sharing and info-graphic sharing are best way to best way to make quality link.
Web 2.0 backlinks can boost your ranking if you know what exactly has to be done. Finding 3-4 expired tumblr blog with more than 20 PA and pointing backlinks from them to your money site targeting specific topic (With low competition) can place you on first page.
We all know these methods. The point is to focus on what works best. Most have some significance within the algorithm, but how much? The balance of each method should be proportionate, slow and constant. Sometimes it's better to try something out of the box that takes longer and brings more results ...
