Different SEO experts have different opinions about Google Sandbox and how to get out of it sooner. Here are some popular ideas I've heard personally:
1. At first when you launch your website, get a link from a high traffic, credible, related website. When Google discovers your new site through a reputable source, it will look at your site with more trust. So it will either don't enter Sandbox or will get out of it faster.
2. First put your website on a sub-domain of an already indexed and out-of-Sandbox domain and get Google find it there. Then move the site to your real domain with a 301 redirect. Some experts say this will reduce the length of time you remain in Sandbox.
So what do YOU think about the above suggestions? Do you think they work?
Also what other techniques do you know to reduce the number of months your new site remains in Sandbox?
Getting out of the sand box is harder than you guys think. I say drop it and start all over if you rally depended on google that much then take the painfull steps of getting back out there.
For domains with less competitive keywords, sandbox should not be a problem. I do not know about subdomain stuff, but I feel if you take the following steps you can come out of the sandbox quicky
Add as many incoming links as possible with appropriate anchor text to overcome the effect of 'new links dampening filter'.
Keep adding keyword rich content to your website.
Purchase an already existing domain if possible - ensuring it was not banned by search engines earlier
You can check this article on Google Sandbox for detailed discussion of Google sandbox.
Actually I did the first 2 tips you mentioned for my previous website which was about a quite competitive keyword, but it took over a year for it to get out of Sandbox.
It was on the first page of all other major search engines, but nowhere in Google. Now it's in the first page and one of the top 5 results in Google too.
But the idea of having to wait one year for your site to appear in Google is not very pleasant, is it?
So do you know any special tips or "tricks" to act as a shortcut?
Well, if you have site in highly competitive niches like SEO, Inetrnet Marketing, Home Business, Autos etc, it definitely takes time for Google to trust your site. But even if your site is in the sandbox, it can rank higher in Google for keywords which are not so competitive - so while your site is in sandbox, you should optimize some of your pages for long tail keywords to direct traffic to your site which may not be much but at least it would be targetted.
I'd also recommend you to check if your site is not in the supplemental results. Sometimes people do not check this and assume that their site is sandboxed.

Yes, that was the case for my previous website. It was about email marketing.

Yes, you're right. Good point. Thanks.

Yes, what I mean is a technique like the 2 I mentioned that I've heard from some SEO experts.
I'm under sandbox effect right now. As googlesuccess said, it is listed in google for minor keywords. Those keywords are the ones that visitors should dig to find my website. But I knew this was the case and it would take a while to get rid of this effect. Thanks for your tips.
