AMP won't give you a rank boost, however AMP will provider a better user experience and a Lower bounce rate. also it has been proven that : 90% of publishers using AMPs have a higher CTR, which has to impact on-site conversions.

AMP isn't a magic tool to get a ranking boost, but that doesn’t mean it don’t matter at all for SEO.

AMP is focusing on mobile speed , if your using mobile friendly website (Bootstrap etc) don't worry about AMP

As we all know that mobile searches are really increasing day by day. and Amp helps to load faster in the mobiles SO it's really important factor to have a amp pages for the good CTR rate. it also have some ranking signal. So we can go with the AMP it's really good atleast for my site.

I was looking into this but like @Altssolution mentioned I think if your site is already responsive then AMP isn't needed for a lot of business sites. Though no doubt AMP helps a lot more for Blog type websites due to the reasons @inventive mentioned above.

But yes, AMP is not needed for my sites, and so I'll leave it.
