There has been some updates recently from Google. Can you share more details about your website.

Is it all 100% original content?

Do you have a lot of banner ads on your website?

You gave us little information to go on.

Did you check your webmaster tool for crawl errors? Recently I have similar issue due a theme changed mistake which further turned into a night mare and huge number of 404 errors. I am right now correcting the same.
Besides that it might be due to Google algorithm update also.

Well, if you've been doing "shady" SEO methods, then you've probably been penalized. However, if you're pretty sure that all of your links are natural, then a competitor must be linking you with negative SEO. Try to analyze your backlinks if there are any links that needed to be disavowed.

It would also be better if you could share to us what you've been doing so that we could help you better.

The problem can be caused by plenty of backlinks. If you bought too much and they were posted in a short period of time, usually Google consider these actions to be not natural and because of that you can have some troubles now.

That sounds like a red flag. how exactly are you doing that?

In another thread you recommended:

Below techniques that is helpful for better ranking and traffic for healthcare website:
1. Web 2.0
2. Content Marketing
3. Forum Posting
4. Guest Blogging
If that is the sort of unnatural spam that you were doing, then no wonder Google is deranking you.

I would like to know more details about your webpage so we can discuss what might have happen. And then reach a conclusion that might help avoid the same to happen to other users.

Maybe Google Penguin 4.0 or Google Fred Update affected your website.

First you need to check your webmaster account. Any message you got in your inbox regarding penalty on your site.

If you got no message then find out from your analytics account what type of traffic you lost.

If it is organic traffic then check out the current status of your keywords ranking and compare it with the last week ranking.

I hope this help you to find out the exact reason of dropping in traffic on your site.

For the google recent updates you can visit search engine land.
