Exclamation Location Specific SEO

Hi! I'm Anshuman Agrahari, from India. I'm Co-founder of InternStreet. We provide a platform to students to connect with industry experts via online 1:1 video sessions and learn skills from a project-based curriculum.

I am looking for tips to Boost SEO of my startup in India since I don't have any direct competition in the market. I have to face SEO competition by the companies which don't operate in India. How to avoid that? Please suggest.

Thanks in advance.

There are a number of ways by which you can do it.
1) Since, I guess, your startup is based entirely on India, you can try connecting with the influencers in your industry.
Ask them to share your links and reviews about your platform.
2) Create a Google Business page for your firm, it really helps.
3) Try going for authority links like huffingtonpost, mashable and others.
4) Send social signals on a regular basis.

1.> List your website on local business directories like google and yahoo local. Use google to find other top local directories.
2.> Change targeting to India through google webmasters panel.
3.> Shift your website to an Indian Server. (Use Amazon Mumbai)
4.> Start a blog and write something useful to which people can link [To generate some natural backlinks].
5.> Submit your website to few high quality directories with less spam score.

There are many other factors you need to consider. You can PM me to discuss if you want !

Hello, this should be visible in the key words you are using , for example Learn SEO in India rather than Learn SEO
