Keyword phrase targeting ( pr vs position )
I have noticed that getting your targeted keyword phrase on higher pr site is all well and good for increasing pr rank...

But noticed that getting your targeted keyword phrase back link on a page in the top ten for that key word phrase ( even if having low or no pr ) is much better for positioning of your website than being on a high pr site in lower position....Seams to be true with all search engines...

Was wondering if you all have found this to be true in your own se positioning quest?

I have always known that PR and rankings are not related. I think people get too caught up in PR and it is just one small piece of the puzzle.

Yes I've found out getting links from high rankings site are worth more than a site with high PR

Is the site that is getting the link related to the high PR site?

The higher positioned sites that link back to me have no pr rating. But they have good top ten positions on the search engines for my targeted keyword phrase...allowing free post every 48 hours with html linking

One funny thing is the second site under google Sponsored Links has been down for 5 days now.
