I have a question about copied content

If I copy a content (around 800 words) from other website and publish it, after some days I edited it with around 1200 words then is it still considered as a copied content ? Should I remove that Post ?

Yes, it was still copied content. Maybe you change word by word of the article jut to bypass the plagiarism. To have unique content article must be unique. Must be you own thought. Re-write the whole article much be ok than copy and adding some word.

Of Course, if the content is already live then using of that content calling the copy content. And it also harmful for your target keyword.

It's still a copied content, so do well to remove it from your site.

Copying is bad. You can check how much trouble you're in by using this copyscape tool http://www.copyscape.com/compare.php

If you would copy and paste as it is then it would be considered as a duplicate content. If you reword and rewrite it and make it unique then that is good for your site.

Yes you must remove the content which you copied as it is considered as duplicate content and search engine will penalize you for doing so by dropping your ranking in SERPs

Yes.
It is a Copied Content. Why Because You already posted 800 words content after that you edited to 1200 words. Google will easily recognised it as a duplicate content and penalise. So better to delete and post Fresh and unique content

Thanks

Yes, it would still be considered as copied. "Content is King" - A popular slogan among professional content marketers. Be original write original.

Yes, it will hurt you. You shouldn't do it. Spend the time to change it around. Also, if this is not your content in the first place, you are setting yourself up for a copyright lawsuit.

You can re-write the post in your word and add more new content up to 2000 words. And check copy content with this free tool http://smallseotools.com/. If it's 100% OK.

Using the spin software and rewrite word by word, you can't be found by Google.

Ofcourse you should remove the post. Spin or copied content from other website can lead to your domain in danger and you also can get DMCA notice.

Copied Content Still renmains copied and it will not change if you check up its plagiarism too. Because Any Spinner or any plagarism checker does not completely pures the content of article it takes time to accept morever the copied content will rank you low unless you creat some thing of your own. Morever , you write less but write productive. Thats the power of Content.

It's still copied. Your article's backbone is basically taken from another person. It's like just adding on to that which doesn't change its core or the fact that the entire idea is taken from someone else. Even if you add your own opinions/statements and change the vocabulary or sentence syntax, at the end of the day it was still taken from some other source/person/website. You may be successful in not being caught by plagiarism software, etc but it's still copied/not original.
