Backlinks from the post on sites like linkedin, quora, vk,... is good for ranking?

Hi everyone,

I have just found that on sites like linkedin, quora, vk,.... allow create blogs and I can make a blog and post content on these blogs. But these blogs just allow nofollow backlinks. I wonder these backlink have the same value like web 2.0 (wordpess, blogger)?

Nofollow means it doesn't help in ranking so if you just want link juice then you are wasting your time but you can use it to gain traffic to your website.

Correct, in that nofollow links can deliver traffic, but, you'd have to take one's link profile out of the ranking part of the algo for nofollow links to not help ranking.

Nofollow backlinks give you traffic, but doesn't help your ranking.

So, let's see - both of you then believe that a link profile that includes a portion of nofollow links is not in line with any part of Googles ranking algo?

And to take it one step further, you are inferring that a healthy link profile, that includes nofollow links would not benefit the domain and pages said links target?

Hi,

Actually No follow links help in traffic sources and visits to our websites.
There are the times when we get do follow links too by blog/posts but very fews it needs an approval to be a do follow link.

Good luck!

Nofollow Links not Passing any link Juice (Not Improving Rankings)

But you should also create Nofollow links, because of as per links ratio
Nofollow links always greater than Dofollow links ratio.
otherwise, you will get rankings temporarily, Google will catch while updates.

Thanks for all reply. Nofollow backlinks are not helping ranking, but I think a website should have both nofollow backlinks and dofollow backlinks.

First of all if you are trying to link drop anywhere you approaching link building wrong. Especially if you are obsessing about chasing links from places like LinkedIn, Quora, etc.

Next, those of you who do not understand the value of a link that has the nofollow attribute are missing out on the hidden power of a nofollow link:

...Instead of focusing on whether or not a link is followed, we should do our best to get those links in front of the right people at the right time, crafting content beyond the link that motivates conversions....
