Good keyword research tools that get their data from Google?

Keyword research tools are a dime a dozen, but lots of them don't feel very robust and even worse, have inaccurate kw data when you compare it to Google's own Keyword Planner.

What tools have you found that are lightweight and well designed that get their data from Google? I'm already aware of KWFinder. What else have you been very happy with?

I use keywordtool.io and it's decent for long tail keyword research. I've also used SEMRush, Ahrefs & Wordstream. They're all good, though I don't think there's a keyword tool (other than keyword planner) that gets data from google.

Google keyword planner & KeywordXtreme both are best to get their data from Google and give you best keyword suggestion.

I use Ahrefs for that purpose. But can't help you with any other information unfortunately...

Use Google Keyword Planner and Google trends, also consider Google Suggestions.

Yeah but keyword planner don't show volume...
i recommend to use keyword research and keyword suggestion services: K-meta tool and AnswerThePublic both. And they are very cheap in comparison to SEMRush or Ahrefs

Combine ahrefs and google keyword planner nearly the best.
Ahrefs display the data that google can not display, sometimes more information. But using both is best

I suggest Google Keyword Planner for keyword research because you are going to get the major traffic from Google than other search engines.

There many many SEO tools available in market, I am sure each of the writers would be suggesting their favorite.

But before you jump on any conclusion, It is strongly advised to analyses any keyword analytics tool with three important Parameters-

1. Its ability to show well ranked long tail keywords, Because more conversion, sales & targeted audience comes when you target long tail keywords ,

2. Its ability to find competitor’s keywords - Your website rank well when other’s go down. It is important & hard to beat competition. Mind it.

3. It ability to find bad back-links & if possible its ability to help you to remove toxic link- It saves you time and money
