Traffic on Google Analytics & Facebook Ad Campaign

What is the reason behind difference of traffic status between Google Analytics and the one displayed by Facebook Ad Campaign?

There is an array of factors determining traffic status in each of them. Below are the mutual ones:
1. Conversion Timing
2. Cross Device Conversion

Most likely, the one recording more traffic is counting bot traffic, while the other is not.

Totally agreed with mickeyfrommars that the free google analytics version doesn't give you the exact data. Plus working of google analytic and Facebook insights report is different. So, Please considered the facebook data which is far more accurate then the google analytics.

It's because Google and Facebook conversions are completely different. Google won't consider the conversion if the user didn't click the ad or clicked the ad and decided to visit later or directly the URL to visit the website. Moreover, Facebook traffic is ID based and Google Analytics is Cookies based.

the conversion difference is Facebook has certain targeting criteria and Google is a open target for anyone. Also yes Facebook traffic is Id based and google ad is cookies based.
