Keyword anchor text question

I hope I word this right i have a question about specific keywords:

So when you have say 10 keywords that the client wants to target but only 4 of them are the ones he is really focused on or those ones need more help in the SERP's how do you go about getting those inbound links?

I mean, is it better practice to just alternate those keywords as anchor text in your link requests at random or is it better to focus on one word at a time, send out some requests only with that word then a week or so later send out using the other word etc...

Im just not sure if the SE's would pick up on suddenly this site got 5 IBL for this same exact keyword in "x" amount of days and flag it or devalue it some how.

These aren’t really words that I can change around much because they are medical procedures so the synonyms are pretty scarce.

Would that still look natural to the SE's??

Yes I would focus on the 4 main words then over time add in the other less important words to the link building campaign.

Then, because every website/page does not get crawled everyday - Google and the like will prolly not find all your new links at the same time, thus saving you the worry from getting penalized for receiving links too fast. IMO its safe to receive about 200 new Quality links per month no matter how old your website is.

Thanks I didnt think about not every site getting crawled at the same time so the SE's really wouldnt know what day the link got added.

Your welcome.

No, they wouldn't know exactly what day - but you know they do keep track of a links creation after they find it, its recorded in the DB.
