The main mistakes that should be avoided are filling keywords on the web page, too much links in single page, getting low-quality backlinks, also try to minimize the number of resource your page loads. Many people think images are great, but if one page has to load too many resources it will slow down the page load.

First and foremost, before the spamming begins, what do you know about the optimization of a site, so members don't post about things you already know.

Don't do spam methods in creating backlinks. Use unique and natural methods. Don't use same keyword repeat again and again

Keyword stuffing - as long as the content is created for humans, using a phrase more than once judiciously and using semantic versions of said phrases should be fine.

Too many link - don't know what you mean. Internal? IBLs?

Site speed - Either Mueller or Illyes recently said they don't use TTFB for ranking. Some sites out there are claiming there can be issues if TTFB is excessive (which I'd agree), but if it's a few seconds, you should be more worried about users, than G's algo.

Etc. - there's a lot that can go under this heading.

When you will go for website optimization then first check website. make an Audit report..like as

1) website loading speed.
2) website Internal url.
3) Images
4) Content
5) On page process etc..

If your website have above issue then Don't start SEO Work, first make your website SEO friendly, Keep fresh and Unique Content do proper On page optimization after that Go for Off page process..

Keep in mind when you will going for Off page process then don't do more submission do few submission but QUALITY and NATURAL Submission.

Check where we can promote our website URL then submit your website according to their platform Guidelines .

Issues means:-

1) Website loading Speed.- Our website needs to open in 3 Sec. this is good for our website If website is taking more time this is not good for web promotion.

2) website Internal url - you need SEO friendly url..

3) Images - Don't use heavy and more images for webpage otherwise it will take more time for open.

4) Content - Don't use Duplicate, Spammy and thin Content otherwise your website will be penalize by Search Engine.

5) On Page process - We need to do proper On page optimization work.

If your website have this Issue then tell me How can you promote or optimize your website..?

All the forums are getting spammed!
How Can you say that ..?" All the Forums are getting spammed"

Speling

I once spent 2 hours building a new section on a website with about 10 pages, uploaded it, went to bed, checked rankings in the morning, only to notice I had spelt the main target phrase wrong every time it was mentioned on the page

Thumbs down Do not over optimize

Lot's of factors you need to look for while optimizing post, like not creating post with lot's of keywords which is called keyword stuffing there is a "Keyword density" which we need to follow, also post should have natural backlinks, avoid getting spam and paid traffic(here i mean cheap paid traffic), get some natural backlinks which make sense.

That's it.

Well, what is this "keyword density" value you are referring to?

If I was to pay for traffic, why would I waste my hard-earned money on cheap traffic?? For that matter, why would anyone do that?
