How to get a single free backlink in 24 hours?

Hi guys.
I'm designing an experiment at the moment and need some ideas.

I am looking for the best way to get a decent quality link(From a page indexed in search engines) within 24 hours.

I cannot use forum signature links. Most directories will not approve within 24 hours. Article submission can take days. The site I will be testing is BRAND new so it will not be possible to exchange links with a relevant site. I am making the experiment completely unbiased so I cannot use my existing network of sites. The link should not be obtained by comment spamming or any means like that.

Anyone got any ideas? Or have I exhausted every possibility already?
Any feedback or leads would be a great help.

Hello I will advice you to do following

1) You can submit your site to the many free directories that are out there. Many provide links on pages that have some PR (Page Rank). PR is important in that higher ranked pages are considered more important in the eyes of Google (the most important search engine) and ranges from 0 to 10. Getting a backlink from a high ranked page gives the impression your page is also important because it has been given a "vote" by the high ranked page.

2) Ask for a reciprocal link. These is essentially a request by yourself to other websmasters if they would exchange links with you which would be mutually beneficial to both of you.

Thanks for the reply georgechristodoulou, but I think I was maybe a little unclear.

I am very aware of PR and it's role. I am actually looking to a site indexed in Google, but I only have 24 hours to get a backlink (24 hours is not the timeframe for the experiment though). I only have a 24 hour period to get a backlink without spending money. I cannot use any of the methods I mentioned in the original post. (Unless someone knows a place where directory listings are automatically approved or where articles are automatically approved).

Comment spamming is also out of the question.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

Unfortunately, as I mentioned "I cannot use my existing network of sites" and Webnauts, I also said I cannot spend any money.

Does anyone know of a list of directories that offer reciprocal links that are automatically approved?

Nah seriously, what topic is the site on and if I can match it I'll give you another freebie.

I really have no idea on how you could achieve free links within 24hrs unless you bump into more people like me.

I know that there are several sites (if a specific topic is not an issue) that will add your link instantly. But know that you ask I can't find them

But they are there and I added my sites to several PR3 or 4 pages instantly (some with recip. and some without).

Thanks for the offer. I have a large network of high PR mutli topic sites. The point of the experiment is for someone who is totally new to the internet.

I appreciate the offer though.

I think instant recip. links are the best option in the experiment. Now, if only I had a list. Looks like I have a few more hours research ahead of me.

Ok, what I dont understand is that you can have a lot of backlinks within 24 hours, but that doesnt mean that those links will get indexed by the se's within 24 hours. Is that what you are trying to accomplish? If you want a free link within 24 hours, PM details of your site and I will add it to my directory for free today. Please pick a category at http://directory.overdriveelectronics.com

Sorry, I really must not be making myself clear here. I do not want your links. I am not here requesting links.

You are right, I am looking to get a site indexed in SEs as quickly as possible. TO do this, I need at least a few backlinks. But this is not for me. This is to demonstrate to someone NEW TO THE NET who has no money and wants to get indexed as quickly as possible.

I do NOT need you to add anything to any of your sites. I am just looking for ideas.

- Well with just and indexed page, it could be while for the site to get indexed...

The frequency of SE crawlibility is in direct correlation to the PR of a site...

Get a PR6 and higher link and your site could be in the SEs withing 24 hours..

Directory submission or a link exchange woul be my best bet for the free link
