You can disavow bad backlinks using google disavow tool found in webmaster tool. Additionally, contact the admin of that website and request him to delete the link pointing to your website.

Google disavow tool - it won't delete your backlinks, but telling to Google not to take them when assessing the site.

The only way to delete the backlinks is you need to ask the website owner ( writing an email ) to delete it.

Make a list of all backlinks which you feel is toxic and then disavow the same with the help of Google webmaster tool... if you finding it difficult to identify the toxic links. make use of some paid tools which can help you out in this...

I am sure glad I don't care what backlinks are pointing to any of my sites. I don't waste valuable time even looking or searching.

Here goes an idea - ignore it and go do something to help your business instead. Spend that time on making your business successful. You would be surprised when you ignore garbage like this and don't waste your time how much more effective your business becomes.

As just mentioned a couple of post prior - probably won't happen. Good luck trying though.

It is not possible to delete the bad backlinks. However, if you do not want Google to follow your backlinks, we can use the formula of "Google disavow" to hide the bad backlinks. The results will be the same.

Whoa there partner. It is certainly possible to reach out to webmasters and ask them to remove links that point to one's site pages, but it may not be the easiest or most successful way to go about it.

False! Google doesn't "hide" the links you request in the disavow tool. The requested action is just a request for Google to "drop" said links from their link database. And, there's no guarantee they'll even do it.

For someone with a signature of the "best seo agency" you really are quite clueless. Very embarrassing for you.

Amazing how any are so quick to say "Use the Disavow tool" and don't even understand why the tool was created...

I highly suggest ignoring any that ever says use the Disavow tool - but hey it's your business.

If only people understood the real reason behind that tool ....
