URL Format
Does anyone know what the impact would be for using the following URL formats..

http://www.url.com/?id=1&title=This-Is-The-Title

and

http://www.url.com/1/This-Is-The-Title

For the first one, will having the title in the form of a query string, be beneficial?

I prefer the second option. It seems to be working well for many people in the top 10 of the SERPS.

No, it's not beneficial, it's bad.
Search engines don't like dynamic urls with variables or session ids inside.
Static html documents are better for seo
