Are you just asking random internet questions like this to help you put together topics for your webguide? If that's the case, why don't you search these things out on your own first, then come back and ask some specific, defined questions.

Sheesh - it's like you want us to work for you for free.

EMD has lost their average ranking from position 13 to 22. Which is highly considerable
Correlation between EMD and ranking is no more effective

Nice made up numbers ...lol How about some creditable sources ?

Moz has nothing to do with search engine rankings or SEO... High position is an unknown company bought out by another company..

With that said people abused EMD to spam up the search engines and we all know it. Yes many was smacked by Google and for good reason BUT that does not mean EMD don't work. It depends upon your business, what you sell, what you do, and etc.

While Google has set out to tackle exact match domains of dubious quality, it seems this is an SEO tactic that may still work. Sometimes it works but not sure. You can get detailed information here with examples : https://econsultancy.com/blog/65696-...-an-seo-tactic

Use it for the intended purpose and not just to register to spam up the web or rankings. VegasCraftShows works perfectly as it was intended and the 2 shows it did brought in over $30k. It has very limited SEO but it's purpose was not SEO although it is a local keyword.

Those that read between the lines will understand what I just said...

p.s. that is not a plug but an example - the site is NOT putting on any shows at this time...
