Getting rid of bad Google Reviews

Hi,

I have had several clients who wanted to get rid of negative Google reviews, most of them claim that these reviews have been posted by their competitors. Neverthless, I have tried contacting Google to take off reviews and It seems that it is really hard to remove them. You guys have any ideas to remove them? Just curious, I was once able to delete a review by flagging it from a number of unique Gmail Id's, any tricks like this?

Thanks in advance.

You can still Flag inappropriate reviews according to this Google article.

This article suggests responding to the bad review: Remove Bad Review From Google Local By Responding

In order to cover-up your negative reviews, you will have to get more of the positive reviews which overcome the thought of negativity and rise your positive viewpoint instead.
Recommend your genuine users to post something great!

Google does not get involved with reviews.

You can try getting a lawsuit that will force google to remove the reviews, but that costs a lot of money and hassle.
I have heard, but cant confirm this, that if enough people flag the review google deletes it as part of their algorithm.

How many people we required to flag a negative review so that google algorithm will remove that review form the business listing?

And i think if your competitor's are posting negative review again and again, this will not impact your ranking as google know that this is a part of negative promotion.. But i would like to suggest you don't perform to much submission to put down that negative review. Too many good reviews in a short period can make your reviews suspicious and your ranking can drop.

See @TMLBasicTutor already shared the resources on how to remove negative links and flag in Google. Implement those guidelines but I strongly recommend you to work on getting positive reviews from the happy customers also.

I worked on online reputation management in past for travel agencies where they get tons of bad reviews on daily basis.

All The best
