Can we add keyword in forum post?

Hello,
I wanted to get traffic and backlinks from forums. so my question is can/how i add keywords in forum posts/replies?

Also at the same time, i don't want to be spam that's why wanted to know the facts.

Any response would be appreciated.

Thanks!

If links are what you are after, then forum interaction isn't going to end well for you. No matter how you word your post, if you link-drop or are self-promoting, it will be clearly seen as spam and it will either be moderated, or, you could be banned. Banned, especially if it's Mondo spam. You can also be shown the door if you disregard the rules more than once.

Dropping keywords here and there will take you nowhere!
I would suggest you to know the importance of keywords and the way they are considered spam: black-hat.
Proper use of keywords in proper proportion at proper places does make sense!

You can add your keywords in your signature link but only when you become eligible. So read the guidelines of forums.

lol .... I love this!

I SEO forum post all the time, just not this forum. It's to take over rankings but not for "links" like you might think. It has it's place and it is has it's purpose but you should own the forum you doing it on....

As far as I know, you should find a related forum then post an article which contains the keywords. Make sure the keywords are inserted naturally. If the article is good, then you will get dofollow with that backlink

Generally speaking, forums, such as this fine forum, are no place for anyone looking to "get links", never mind a place to post articles.

Signature links in film making and film emulation are not considered spam by Google's algorithm.

Also weaster forum and the web sun form are good sites also for signature links and learning more about seo.

Signature links here aren't considered spam either. What's film making got to do with anything?

Forums are good for referral traffic and that's it.

They are not for any off-page activity such as creating backlinks.

The forum is the not a place to promote, directly your keywords.

You mush read v7n forum guidelines once.

Try to share your ideas , what you know about user's questions.

Nobody "owns" keywords and as such you can't promote "your keywords" ...

The question was can you add keywords in forum post... Simple answer is Yes you can!

Now if you want to know the logical and intelligent answer why you should - I would be glad to explain it if you bother to read this post right here and respond.

Keyword in blogposts

i think you can do a logical placement of keywords (if they are required) in blog post, excessive keyword stuffing can lead to negative results.

I think you need to adjust keywords that looks like content, as forms need text rather only keywords. You have to write text and try to involve all ur focus keywords in it.

Wow!! Simply Amazing!

Look part of running a business is being creative and come up with different ideas and strategies. STOP FOLLOWING WHAT EVERYONE ELSE SAYS! You must think outside the box at times.

Again the answer to the OP question is Yes! It is NOT for backlinks or rankings for his/her own site. It is however for ranking easier of the forum post. How does this help you? Simple - if you want real intelligent conversation or answers from real professionals then SEO your post to capture those people. This helps in 2 ways:

1. Builds up the forum

2. Helps build up your reputation

Building up your reputation is FAR GREATER than any lame spammy backlink!

This is the short answer and from this you 'should' be able to understand what you need to do.
