Question about PR leak

Technorati tagging and RSS syndication are vital for any blog. However the Technorati tag links as well as the RSS syndication buttons are all external links. Since I have many such links on my blog, I am little worried if it would affect my future pagerank.

Does anybody know if these links are discounted by Google so that the PR of the page is not leaked. Or, are there any tweaks to stop the PR leak due to such links.

pr leak/bleed has been debated for a while, yet no one is sure if you lose PR from outbound leaks. it's definitely an arguable topic.

anyway, you can use the rel="nofollow", but i personally dislike this since it doesn't help those outgoing links which are useful/relevant.

i have found that having outgoing links to relevant sites actually helps you. (as long as they're not to spammy/adult sites)
you never know though.

Technorati links already have rel="tag". It is needed to tag the post with a keyword.

you can add a ", nofollow" after it, if that's what you want so it looks like rel="tag, nofollow". but since that link most likely points to pages relevant to the topic of your article/story, it would probably be best to leave it as it is.

being stingy with your outgoing links actually hurts you IMO.
