How to increase traffic? my website getting ranking on 1st page in top 5 but not getting more traffic. our website related to website designing and development. thanks

First you have to check how many searches you are getting for your keyword. If the search count is more and you are not getting any traffic then surely it will be your site's pblm. If your site is in first 5 position and if you are not getting traffic check the bouce rate also. If bounce rate is high it must be site's issue.

For more traffic please include engaging content to your website and share through social medias.Use digital marketing techniques to know others that your website provides good service.

If you are getting good SERPs, and if the results are specific to those requesting "design and/or development", and still no one is clicking thru, then maybe the issue is the snippet that the SE shows on the results page. Try to think out-of-the-box. Get creative and try various wording to get your snippet to "stand out", because if you are top 5, as you say, you should be getting some decent traffic.

Lists of pointers, like the above, are a good start. However, explaining each pointer is exceedingly better, because "de facto" lists are usually removed if said pointers have no substantiation to validate their worth.

So why not explain each one with what you do for each, since you recommend all 12 above.

I think social media is the best platform to generate traffic for your website in less time. Personally Facebook has really helped me generating traffic, you can use fb groups

There is a number of ways to increase traffic. First of all, you should decide which types of traffic you want like organic or paid. As you said your website is on the first page but you are not getting adequate traffic means the keyword you got ranked may have low search volume. Second, your meta tags description may be not so catchy that encourage people to click on your link.
