Have you ever heard the saying "The more the better"! Well the same thing goes for inbound links to your website. It can only help you even though i read in some of the post that it can hurt you or you may have just a few.

This is not true. Inbound links can only benefit your website. The more people that know about it the more visitors you get, the more your website is likely to be indexed etc..

well if reciprocal links dont hurt you, than do they help you in any sense?how true is it that one-way links or reciprocal links to the sites with higher PR is beneficial or there also exist any criterion to be fulfilled?

I have always been told build recip links relating to your site and gain one way links to your site any way you can.
