Hello, I'm a Newbie for SEO,
I have a new site www.freehostsfinder.com, my new domain registered about 1 month ago and SE submit about 5 days ago.
Google already visit my sitemap and then still not indexed, So my question is how to optimize the sitemap for dynamic site (eg..link?abc=xxx) I'm not sure this is the bot friendly way.
1 more question,what is the best way to generate the links back to mu site from other well know site?

Is it trueth ?about waiting several months for change the status from sandbox to become indexed for new domain.

The more quality backlinks you have the faster you are able to get indexed. As for getting backlinks try searching this forum and you'll find lots and lots of help.

You should do MOD Rewrite if your host is unix-based so that your urls look like the ones here at v7n. Spiders don't like urls with ? = etc....

Try to create new content every day, get backlinks (use your signature here for a start)....

submit your site to directory sites, submit your articles to free article directories. Participate in webmaster forums like this one.

submit articles and press release with the link of your site in it. directory submissions are also good. and you can make blogs too.

You do not have to have mod rewrite to get your pages spidered, this is a misconception.

Definitely, I HAVE mod-rewrite for my images and yet Google is indexing the non rewrite URLs for some reason. At least it sees them.

This is being indexed: ...com_virtuemart/Itemid,50/index.php?page=shop.product_details&category_id=2& flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=27&option=com_virt uemart&Itemid=50&vmcchk=1

Even though I have a rewritten URL....browse-images/modern-japan_2/sanshin-shop_27.html

No idea why though.

You must know how to edit your mod_Rewrite()

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/1.3/mod/mod_rewrite.html <-- here is the manual
