Advantages or Disadvantage to using the LinkManger service

I asked this somewhere else but will try here.
Is there any benifit to using www.linkmanager.com? I saw it posted somewhere and wondered if anyone has any experience with the service.

I know a couple of members aer using it - I'd love to get an idea of the number of reciprocated links in the first month, and in what category.

I'd also be interested to hear if there are any particular penalties for withdrawing from the scheme.

Yeah me too.

I'm going to try and look into it more Monday when I'm in the office.
Still looking for feedback from anyone familier with the service.

It makes adding links a lot easier but costs way too much. It is a good idea but something similar can be made on your own for nothing.

Do it manually guys! It may be easier to buy programs but its not as professional and it is very expensive. Take the time and do it yourself. I did it and have already gotton 6 in 2 weeks. I am not even trying hard to get links just if a member has a good website I request a link exchange and they normally say yes.

I'm sort of under the impression that LinksManager can build up hundreds of reciprocated links in weeks - or, at the very least, a couple of months? Or is that a misconception?

Linksmanager does not build up hundreds of reciprocated links for you it simply gives you a system whereby you can manage your links. The program has built in FTP functionality so when someone visits your site they can fill in the form for exchanging links with you and you can choose whether or not to exchange. If you choose to exchange your pages are automatically updated with there link information and link manager also keeps checking for you that they keep reciprocating the link and don't just remove it after a few days. Its not a bad system but I also think overpriced. They also run link partners which offers you access straight away to a database of others wanting to reciprocate links but this is free to use anyway.

I am a huge fan of OptiLink, and a new web site I found called LinkTree.
Linktree is totally free. It allows you to find topical hubs by looking at who is linking at your competitors and not linking to you. You must enter at least 2 competing sites and then your own. Any time a page links to 2 or more competing sites and not your own it will return results.
http://www.linktree.info

I did a quick review of linktree on this page

I've used OptiLink well. It is good as well; however it doesn’t much more than build link partners. It goes into detail by actually analyzing top ranking pages. Check out my review of OptiLink.

links manager works good but the fees pile up

plus it sort of sucks clicking lots of times to send the link requests

you can get more on topic links easier

I tried briding the support staff to see if they would send one massive link request to everyone on their system but no dice
