How much do you pay in marketing a link exchange. If you have a website and other webmaster who are going to market your site. Is that a monthly basis or per links.

There are many free services for exchange links, add url, submit url.

Why not try free things first.... so you many get some basic ideas about the "link marketing"

and

then you will be more easy to decide ::
where to add link or submit,
how to maintain or to check,
what keywords to use,
when is the best time,
how much to spend.......

honestly IMHO I would stay away from link exchanges they, but then again I mean if its a powerful link go for it, but what you want to do is either buy high quality contextual links, directory submissions, and article submissions.

Make sure all your content on your articles is unique.

Yes go for more the theme based links with some PR as well. You can try three way link exchange as well (Few SEO gurus have an aversion to this trick though

If it's some link exchange company, like you join them and insert some script in your website, you will get thousands of links. Don't do that, goolge is smart enough to know that.

But you shall do exchange or buy some links from others, PR4 above like that, monthly say 20-40 usd. And then you shall get free links by submitting to directories, post in forums, etc.

IMO, you can try free links first. you don't have to shed money at once. there are many free listing directories and sites who are also looking for link exchanges.

Why don't you start with LinkPartners.com ~ I know it's a bit 2003 but it's a starting point.
