Good advice, but digg now is very strict to websites, sometimes big forum sites are banned in digg.

3)Organic traffic from search engine
4)Mouth to mouth advertising
5)Offline advertising

To add to the existing list which has all good tips i would also advice on providing quality comments on different high PR blogs. If you have some good writing skills you can also write unique articles and submit them for which you don't have to be a professional writer and should just know to convert your thoughts in to words.

Digg will ban you pretty quick for spamming so use them wisely or get banned for life.

After a long research i have noticed that traffic could be brought from two ways: One is through search engines, social bookmarking, forums, yahoo answers etc. secondly we can also bring the instant traffic through registering for PPC advertiser program, all you need to do is just invest some money according to your budget and see how fast the traffic comes...I love getting the traffic coming from the search engines because we don't need to pay any dollar!
