Google reporting 404 when page exists

Hello,

I´m working on www.iluminatia.com.ar and i´m using url´s with a "ñ" character. I know this is not very standart but i´ve seen other sites using ñ in their url´s and Google recognizing it.
For example, check this out:
http://www.google.com./search?hl=en&...23&btnG=Search

If you enter the URL, it transforms the "ñ" character into "%C3%B1" which must be the utf-8 equivalent.
Well, my site has a
www.example.com/diseño/diseño-de-sitios-web.php
path, that actually transforms to:
http://www.example.com/dise%C3%B1o/d...sitios-web.php
which should be correct.

The problem is that Google isn´t indexing this page and on Google Webmaster Tools, i´ve got a 404 reported for it. Of course, the url is in the sitemap (check sitemap.xml on the domain name)

Do you know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Sorry, no idea. I would think it would be safer to not use international characters in the URL.

I'm not sure, but I guess that's because you have many broken backlinks, and when googlebot tried to crawl your website through these links, it will report 404 not found. Check your links, make sure it's active and working.

I have the same experience, with my host was down while google crew my site then google report url not accessible..
