same title on every page???
obviously page titles are very important in SE's, but i have heard people say that having the same page title on every page is a NO NO.
is this because these people have differant content on their pages and want to build traffic to those individual pages?
my site has a lot of differant content, but i am only selling shirts, so would it be best for me to have a title that has my shirt keywords on every page??
thank you very much

Yes different title pages is a must. Each title page must describe the content of each individual age. If they are all the same it'll get you nowhere. So do yourself a favor and make sure each of your pages has a unique title.
Thank You

should i change the order of the words? or use synonyms?

My suggestion is to use different title and description tag for each page, and try to put the keyword "shirt" in these tags of each page.

Different titles on different pages look good and show the contents of the page also.

Yes, you should tell your users what is specifically in that page. Also same title increases the probability of having duplicate content penalty.

Experience
To be honest with you don't have the same titles at all, the reason being is because it can get counted as a supplemental result in Google index, and plus you want to make every page as unique as possible because Google loves that, and plus more of a chance that your pages will show in for a given search query

If you are selling shirts, its easy enough to put the word shirt in your product titles or description anyway. I do think that shirt should be in every page title, but make it more specific as you stated -- emo shirts -- vintage shirts -- etc.

It's critical to use proper titles based on the websites content. Also, use different meta tags as well (title, description, and keywords). I agree that they don't have much weight in serps, BUT yahoo did penalize one of my sites that had all the same metags.. So far ( a year later) .. yahoo still doesn't show love.
good luck.
