My fight to get re-included in yahoo's index!

I've been de listed from yahoo's index about 6 months ago... I'm on a one man quest to get re listed. I've filled out the online forms in yahoo to get re listed, but find that they are generic, and don't exactly tell me WHY I've been singled out as spam..

I've read yahoo's quality standards many times, and fixed any and all potential problems. there must be something I can't see.

Is there a third party program (algorythm, service, or really smart guy or gal ) that could tell me why I've deemed as unworthly for yahoo??

For some reason I just can't see why I'm not meeting their standards.

any comments.. and or suggestions?

What site are you talking about? Anyway, here is my suggestion: submit a sitemap to yahoo - the same sitemap that you submit to google. for info visit sitemap.org

Check whether your website was banned by yahoo or not. If it's banned, no matter what you do, yahoo will not index your website. I think you are banned, because that's strange for a website not indexed by yahoo in 6 month if the site has backlinks.

hhheng, I'm not indexed, but "banned" is a harsh term.. I only used white hat seo methods. I've emailed yahoo many times, and keep getting a generic response.

I guess I'll keep emailing.

TheBrain.. I'm referring to wagerx.com.. I also submited a sitemap to them about 3 months ago too.. that didn't help.

I have a similar poroblem. One of my sites has indexed on the homege and nothing else.

Normaly, Yahoo get long time to index some websites. One of my website get 11 months to index. Take it easy. Pray to god.
Why you worry about yahoo? think about google.

By the way, Can you tell me the your website that getting late to index in yahoo?

Did you tried to sing up for Yahoo Site Explorer?
If not, try to do it and see if your site authenticated without any problem.

Indika, strangely enough my other sites are not penalized by yahoo. I realize that google can get the most traffic. However, my other sites are recieving about 20% from MSN and Yahoo combined. I think every little bit help.

Also, I have to think that google is the dominant SE now, but that could change.. and if or when it does I wanted to be in a good position with all of the Se's.

SKGOLD, yea I signed up for the Yahoo Site Explorer.. It only show's my index page.. and nothing else when I click "explore".

But did you tried to authenticate your site and did you pass authentication?

Yes it was authenticated.. and the site is > 5 years old.. lol..

Well, if it authenticated then my only guess that you probably were penalized for some reason. Having only index page it is sing like a penalty.

The only way to know exactly is to get the answer from Yahoo.

You may also try to post some question here:

Try to put it the way like you have some problems with SiteExplorer and only your index page is listed. Do it very politely and if you lucky maybe somebody from Yahoo will give you the answer.

I did couple of changes to my site to be sure that I comply with their guidelines and submitted a reinclusion request. So far no response but I guess it takes time.
