Arelis

I've been coming across talk of the Link Exchange program "Arelis" and would like to ask for comments from those with any experience of it, and also get to grips with some of the key features.

Link exchanges are a time consuming process - ideally I'd love to have a crawler that would seek out sites for keywords, and harvest the e-mail details, so that I could then send out e-mails from a mailing list asking a link exchange. If it builds a SE-friendly directory without ad-links at the bottom then that's even better.

Is this the sort of thing Arelis offers? It's hard to get a clear picture because of all the sales/affiliate marketing.

Anyone here have any real experience with it, and can point to where I can find link exchange pages using Arelis?

I've used Arelis for quite some time now and I absolutely love the program. I will be the first in line to tell too that the best link is one found manually, however Arelis sort of does the manual part for you. The program allows you find links 2 different ways. 1) You can find web sites that link to your competition. 2) You can find link partners by keyword. Arelis is a "crawler" as you put it and it will find web sites based on the 2 criteria above and it will pull in the sites title, description and also an email address if it finds one. You obviously can go in and change the title and description to your liking.

It also offers template emails that you can send out to potential link partners; however I suggest you customize it to your own needs. The program will generate a links page for you and it will even ask you for a template page will you sites look and feel without the ad-links at the bottom of the page. The first site I used it on I generated over 600 links in about 10 weeks.

Arelis isn't like LinksManager. I mean you have to actually do the work which I like because I can personalize the emails with ease. LinksManager I don't think you can do that. See my review of Arelis on my site. I break down the features and benefits for you. To me the best thing is that it has built in SMTP making emailing potential link partners a breeze.

LinksManager I don't think you can do that.
You can customize all email responses and messages in LinksManager. Linksmanager doesn't crawl sites for you but it does give you access to a program called LinkPartners, where people looking for reciprocal links list there site by categories. You can go through a category and view each site if you wish and then add them by clicking a button. All the back ground work is automated from there.

The really good thing about LinksManager is that it is constantly check that reciprocal links are in place and it also constantly checks for any dead links on your site.
