Youtube Videos in blog

Hello,
I just want to know if inclusion of some youtube videos in my Film reviews blog will attract more traffic.Or is there any drawback for Youtube videos in blogs?

Sounds like it would be a good thing to me. Especially if you can get some good descriptive copy around your videos.

I downloaded a plugin "mytube" for putting you tube videos in my blog.But it is not working.Any idea on how to put youtube videos on blog.

You have to deactivate the wysiwyg editor in wordpress and will work. You can do it in USERS---> choosing your username. I have used this method to setup the youtube videos from Website Popularity demo.

Where is this wysiwyg editor and how can I deactivate it?
And also I do not see any helpful instruction in the link you sent above.

When you are logged in to your wordpress backend, go to 'profile' (link in upper right corner) and there you can uncheck a checkbox for the WYSIWYG editor.

I think it depends on the quality of the content you would like to share through your blog. It is ideal to post some description about particular video blended with your personal view and so on keep on asking opinion from your visitors/readers.
