IP address

Lets say I have two domains on the same hosting account (same ip address), will I benefit from linking them to one another?

I think linking from same IP is useless. It is not counted as your backlink. It won't give you benefit. I suggest, get links from trusted site by link exchange.

Honestly there is no need to cross link, just buy quality links, article submission, social bookmarking, directory submissions, and etc, there are so many way to promote your site, but you need to do the following.

If you got 2 websites on the same class c blocks the possibility is that your not going to get credited for it, and plus thats only one link, inless the other website is super strong, and has hardly no outbound links, and then maybe it will give the other website a boost.

Craig is referring to cross linking if I'm right, and the link dont work, but yes I'm quite confused on what he asking, but I think he might be confused thats why were not understand him so quite well, but craig if I am understanding you correctly your referring to cross linking your websites.

For example website 1 goes to website 2, and website 2 goes to website 1, or just one way link, this is cross linking, or hosting it on the same class c block, its not going to help anything, now if you got 100,000k links going into website 1, and website 1 only has one outbound link which goes to website 2, that might give it a boost in the serps as long as its not on the same class c block.

Well I would have to say it most certainly would give it a boost . Read into it, and you'll get my drift, its not something learn over night.
