I have managed to get a website ranked with then 2 months, and wasn't quite so hard, one thing is to remember guys its about the quality of the links,not the quantity, yes quantity helps, but quality will outblow quantity if you get good enough links.

I got a keyword on the 7-8th page on google with then 2 months that is getting about 4-12k searches a month, well digitalpoint, and few other seo tools I have used are saying different things, but the big majority of the search are in that range if not higher, I'm sure on this one.

i have many keywords that are ranking through 1-5 on google that are really good keywords, but the keyword i got ranked that is acheiving around 4-12k search a day is on the 7-8 page, but its shooting up every day another spot, by just grabbing little lower end links, or directories which granted I'm still going for the high quality ones.

The thing is if you get your website good enough links, it won't take so many lower end links to have an effect because your in a good area, and always remember if a website is ranking good in the search engines, it is a must have link!
