Google algo changes

Curious have you guys been experiencing any changes in your rankings like big time, I am getting ranked for keywords that are competitive, I mean competitive keywords that are getting like 14k searches a day, I'm pretty sure I know what I did, but I might be wrong, but I'm about 90 percent sure on this.

Any one experience high rankings on keywords they never imagine?

not sure if I would call this a flat out algo change but a def. change or tweaking none the less....

Noticed it yesterday. Called it to a T. then noticed aaron saw it, so yea something is def up.

I noticed it a week ago, but I think in my case its right all the sites around me are still the same, but mine keeps shooting up, and I'm pretty sure what I done has done it.

but yea all the other websites around me have the same rankings, but mines blowing every one away, which I im prettty sure I know what happen

Could you elaborate some more about 14K searches keywords? I am currious what are they.

As to Google algo changes, I don't see any changes. Everything seems pretty much written in stone.

Thats what I was thinking everything seems to be written in stone, the more links I have been catching that people have been linking to me, it has been going up, I really haven't done anything to try to rank it.

A few good sites linked to me, and it went up. Really good sites

why have you been getting high rankings?

I'm pretty sure I know what happen, but put it this way all my keywords combined is about 15-20k searches a day, and I have plenty more, but I'm positive I know what I did, its not quantity its quality

YEah Tyler Im seeing some MAJOR shifts myself. I've even noticed some of my major competitors that have been knocked out the SERP spots they've been in for a looooooong time. On the other side of things, I got passed up in a couple spots too! Oh well,

How'd you know my name, seems like every one knows my name on the net anymore lol, but I don't really think much is changing, other then that Google is re indexing pages, I got a boost thought thats for sure, but I think its cause of the links I got.

I'm not working on this keyword that is on the 5th page, and I'm going to bring it to the top, its getting around 13-15k searches a day.

it seems to me that Google became more strict to websites who promote their sites throught link submission in free / paid directories.
