A good combination is often the best approach. I like the 80/20 rule which says you automate 80% of the monkey work, and spend 20% of the time adding that human touch.
In the context of article submissions, this means getting the bot to autocomplete the form, and you manually look over it to make sure it looks good before pressing "submit".
This works good for a lot of things - it's inefficient to manually do what could otherwise be automated. Likewise it's not good to fully automate tasks that should be done manually.
