A question about seo from newbie

i saw something very interesting and im very curious to know why it is like that.
<meta http-equiv="pragma" content="no-cache" />

Could anyone tell me why they put, content= no cache
thanks.

Also is there will be any problem if i put all pages same this stuff.>
like i have tottal 7 pages, and i put all 7 pages this.

The no-cache tag is to stop the readers browser from caching the page. It can be used for a number of reasons such as on pages that are regularly updated.
