Multiple Domains

I have purchased many domain names through godaddy and am wondering if there is anything I can do that would help SEO? Is it good to have them all directing to the main page? I am currently using 2 of them hollandmihomes.com and lukebouman.com. Both are seperate webpages but with the same information. Is this hurting my rankings? Thanks for the help.

In essence, by having a lot of new domains, doesn't help at all at your SEO endeavors. If you would purchase established websites and redirected their pre-existing traffic, that would be another story. Unfortunately, domains don't bring traffic by themselves. Unless those domains are tricky and resemble in spelling popular websites such as youtube.com or myspace.com.

But does it hurt that I have 2 website exactly the same, just with different domain names?

Yes it does hurt one or the other because of duplical content.

One should use a 301 permanent redirect to the other one.

its ok to have multiple site in the same hosting plan, and interlink each other. make sure no site is duplicated, or having exact same content, this hurt.
