MORE CONTENT

i was curious as to what the limits are per say to taking articles off of other web site's but giving the autor and the site credit. can i do this? basically i need more content for the site it's a nutrition supplement site so there are tons of articles but i don't want to get into any trouble if there are rules to this.

In most cases this is absolutely not okay without their permission.

I think there are sites with articles that are free to use, the problem is that when your site contains mostly duplicate content it degrades itself in the serps, you can avoid that when you re-write articles in your own words and interpretation, that way you can even use the original author(s) name(s) mentioned as reference(s) in the article without the need to, per se, place external links.

Btw. down here the clock's always at 4:20.

Be very careful with that thought ...

Theres no need to do such a thing unless you are impatient. Just spend a couple hours and do one article a day or so and after a few months go by you'll have almost 100.

Then if your articles are unique you can submit them everywhere, theres no telling how long your article will float around the net or how much traffic it will bring you. I am not a big fan of articles myself but I have heard of some people experiencing great success.
