I use statcounter and analytics....statcounter gives up to the minute stats and I can see exactly where the traffic is coming from. Analytics is free and I can look at my archives to see traffic trends....if has nice reports and graphs

Google Analytics is good. You can also try out sawmill, simple and lightweight

Even I would back on for Google analytics as that's the only one I have used so far and I think its fantastic.

do u use it for web sites only?
what about ur clients web sites ?
do u give them a view reports area like in google?
what if u use more than one system,, also if they know nothing about seo. how can u manage that ?
