PR doesn't have any value. My site went from PR4 to PR5 last time but my traffic started increasing in the middle of February. Moreover, internal pages on my site got PR1-PR3 but their traffic and positions in Google increas differently.

And yeah, I have another site which went from PR1 to PR3 but I am receiving the same amount of visitors there all the time .

Hm, I wonder if Google directory really updates . Would be great if it happend... That prediction is quite inaccurate since the next GD update should come on 19th of March/2006 . Or am I wrong?

PR has good value if you wish to sell your domain. However, draving traffic to your site is more important then PR rating. Most tools don't even work well to predict or accurately determine the PR rating of a site. Don't put too much faith in a PR number.

no changes in my site's PR yet... but the number of my site's backlinks in Google changes every now and then so i think, its safe to assume that PR update will be happening anytime soon
