Anything new in SEO recently?
Everything about in this field is stagnant. People say SEO changes all the time but I have not changed my approach or gained any knew knowledge in many months and SEO is becoming rather boring. What have you all learnt this year?

I have learnt one GR8 SEO technique during last months .... Quality content rules. Google is getting impassive against various SEO techniques as time goes by. Or am I wrong?

-that blogs and social networking work well for some niche market
- that anchor text is the first thing to rank well in search engine
- that squidoo lens can drive traffic and rank well in search engine

rumour says that all major search engines are decreasing value of reciprocal links - and web rings - and are increasing sandbox effects.

Quality links, keyword as anchor text, keywords in content, title, alt tag can help you improved rankings. Interesting contents can gain you more traffic. If you want to get better rankings you should balance your on-page and off page optimization techniques because different search engine has different elements consider in ranking a site.

Tagging only plays 2-3% effect on SEO. I don't know why there's a big fuss over it.
