I have a doubt since long..

why not forums.v7n.com link ? Any SEO advantage ?

Whats the difference between v7n.com/forums and forums.v7n.com in terms of SEO ??

i think have it in a subfolder allows the trust of the main domain to be passed to the forums.....

I don't know why it was done here at v7n. I'm just speculating

I am slightly in doubt myself. I think it is best to use a subfolder, but not entirely sure.

When we first set up v7n, the forums were the primary content, and if we had moved it to a subdomain, the root domain would have been sorely lacking in content and links.
