well after a little research i have found a nice looking alternative to VBSEO
and best of all its free... It looks as though you are able to get the desired result your looking for through this software..

Zoints SEO has three primary options for URL rewriting:

1. No URL rewriting

2. URL rewriting without mod_rewrite. Why use this? If you want to insert keywords in the url but don't have mod_rewrite available or don't want to expend the resources (using mod_rewrite is server intensive and slows page generation) then this is a viable solution.

3. The mod_rewrite everyone knows and prefers.

Screen-shots here

Yes i realize that, i was refering to the URL'S that were generated by that forum when visiting a post ...

the /SEO_forum/ is the direct Forum URL

for example 1 of the post's within the introductions forum created this URL

SEO_Forum/introductions/1-hello-all-nice-lookin-board.html

This was done with vbseo

however if i knew of this free alternative i may have saved my money and tryed that lol, question is has anyone tryed it?
