Hi All

Here in the UK, ask.com is advertising heavily, I just wondered if anyone has started getting tons of traffic from ask?

Accross many sites , the max number of visits I get is like 10 a week


Tell us if you get a ton of traffic from ask

According to Hitwise UK, Ask has about 4.92% of the search market.

1. www.google.co.uk 66.69%
2. www.google.com 12.07%
3. uk.search.yahoo.com 6.15%
4. www.uk.ask.com 4.92%

Are they actually saying that ask is ahead of MSN ?

Curious, cos msn is a far better SE, most of the time, IMHO, but it would make sense of the extremely low traffic from msn uk

I am finding ask fairly opaque for ranking matters so, I must be missing out

Does anyone get like 1,000 uniques per day from ASK , just asking

I have seen alot of commercial lately in the USA about ASK.

but not much increase in traffic from them yet, but they just really started.

I have seen Ask's 'Information Revolution' ads here in the UK and most people (including me) just think 'what's that all about' and go back to using Google.

I think they are targeting the not so savvy internet user and there are a lot of them

well maybe because it is not that popular unlike other SE

Still very little traffic. Even my busiest site gets like 10 visitors per month or so.
