Press Releases vs Articles
Press Releases: A press release is the main way we as SEO professionals get the word about your products, and or services out to the public on a large scale. Sometimes these releases are picked up by big news stations like Cnn, Fox, and Abc etc…



Article Submissions: An article submission is normally a technical article teaching others to do something that you are good at. We have written dozens related to SEO. They are featured on www.totaldmag.com/seo.html



The main difference between the two is simple, a press release is used to aler the world about a new product or service you offer! A article is generaly a information or howto article.

No they don't, never have and never will. No one has yet come up with 1 site that has successfully used this method of promotion.

If however your article was targeted to go on reputable site and unique the method will work in getting you a quality link.

I had some issues with press releases when I launched my latest site.

The PR's tended to rank higher in search engines when searching for the company name than the company website. Caution is advised.

If your press release ranks number 4 on the webpage and your site ranks number 5. You just took up two spots on the front page.

I guess the problem is if the Press release is on the first page and your main site is on page 1000.

But the PR youi get from most press release is a good thing

If I created a seo friendly 500 word article that looked like a press release and submitted that to article directories does that help?? I would assume so.

If you use my unique article creator you get unique articles and all your articles will be indexed instead of just a few.
