keyword research on google, and SERSP in differnet countries
I don't know if any one can answer this question, but I have a competitive keyword coming up in the search engines, and I check Ireland Google, uk google, and etc its coming up in every search engine for every country, I did adwords on this, and it got over 500 impressions with then 10 minutes on google in usa alone.
What I'm confused about though is that all the other sites that are ranking in Google usa for my same keyword are not ranking in the other googles like I am, I can go to Ireland google, and I'm ranked, uk Google, I'm ranked, but then all the other sites I seen on Google usa are no where to be seen?
I'm wondering if this has something to due with inbound links, and where there coming from, I'm not complaining one bit, this is a very competitive keyword I got going, by far enough to probably draw in 15k plus a day in traffic organically.

It's got to do with your content and your metatag. I do cover in depth in my videos.

It's to do with any regional variations you may be using on your site (i.e. UK address or other local references), inbound linking from regional domains, or regional/localized directory listings.

Yea peter thats what I was thinking, I kind of lost some money playing with the affiliate programs, but made it back.
This keyword is being a pain, do you have any tips you could give me to gain more link popularity, or buy them cheap, I've notice I have found very very high end links by doing donations .
I just didn't know if you had any tips you could give me on link building, or where to get good links like all the time buying them consitently, instead of it being sooooo time consuming searching for them all the time, I been getting permanent blog post for around $5 dollars per pop contextual pr3+ relevant, but I know theres got to be more ways.
I have been focusing on link baits more then anything, but it kind of hard to get baity content with out high traffic which granted I'm getting some good traffic, but not near what I want by any means.
for it only being 3 months, and heading to the 2nd page for a keyword that is getting practically 500-1000 searches per hour I'd say thats pretty good today I turned the adwords on with my keyword, and like with then 10 mintues it came back with like 370 impressions on google usa alone, my limit maxed out that quick.
I was thinking man adwords is the best way to identify keywords by far.

It's very useful, eh. At least you get some accurate numbers.
What's your aim?
It sounds like you're doing well with the ranking for your word. My thoughts are that in putting all your attention on this one term, you may be missing some low hanging fruit elsewhere.
Have you done a competitive analysis? What are your three biggest competitors doing? Who links to them? How many news stories have been written about them? Are they trading on a brand name?

yea, well I notice they have a few good links, but most of them are pr4-5-6, I bought some pr7 well only 2 as right now, and been buying pr6 links by doing donations, and getting relevant blog post links.
Believe it, or not I don't think my competitors know to much about seo, or something which I find hard to believe cause there web development companies, but they don't do any seo work, they say they just make seo friendly pages, but there not like hardcore into it, so I think there rankings are just there from them plugging there urls on every ones site they've built.
I don't think they get into intense link building, but yea I check there profiles, and everything. I'm going to try to get many links as I can with my keyword in it.
so yea i've done all that, just trying to budget my funds until I hit that front page, as we speak its like going down and up from number 22, to 29, it keeps going up the more links I build, but I'm trying to spurt it right up there, I think I can take #1 position for this keyword with enough effort, and time.
I been working night and day for this, i had a lot of people tell me I'd never get it like 4 months ago, and now its almost there.

Hey i was going to ask you, whats a good way to draw in blog traffic, I notice searchenginejournal.com, seomoz.org, and all these other guys are getting kiler traffic like 20k plus a day.
I'd be happy if I can get around 5k plus a day, and shoot for more, it just seems like I'm not getting any taffic what so ever to my blog, will more pr get passed down to my blog as I build links, and keep buying them?
I'd like my blog posts to show up in the search engines as much as possible, so maybe I can run some ads through it later on, and make money off it, but right now I just am not getting no no traffic to my blog.

Serious networking.
It has more to do with PR/Marketing than it has to do with SEO.
Takes a lot of time and energy, of course...

Yes I think you own searchengineblog.com don't you? also thats what I was thinking serious networking, but I have to be able to get these post to show up in the search engines more to gain viral marketing effects, or to create buzzzz.
I was thinking about starting up a forum, but thats going to take a lot of work, and trying to focus on this keyword right now, I"m hoping this blows me up with sales, and I can hire some full time employees from the way it looks this should get things on the roll, and I can invests into web directories.

also man I think your blogroll is down .
