Why does my source code look so ugly?

I’ve noticed when I view the source code for my site it looks much more ugly than most other sites. Is this a bad thing in terms of SEO? My site is mxmegastore(dot)com. Keep in mind I know absolutely no html and have no idea what most of that stuff is for other than the meta tags.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Whether it be the source code or just for my site in general. I know the paragraph at the top is ugly but it has to stay up for a month yet to satisfy a contract I have with an SEO company.

It's not too bad.

There's a lot of javascript making it look "messy", but the searchbots aren't concerned about script.

Looks like yours "reads" ok.

As a rule of thumb, the less code, and the lighter the page in terms of file size, the better.

But the difference is negligible in terms of ranking. More important, by far, is the quality of inbound linking to the page from external sites.

I would agree with look4emund, although it may be pleasing 2 the eye to see perfect formated source. As long as its functional and without errors, it shouldnt matter.

I should show you some of my source code lol, looks like a 5 year old wrote it.
But hey it works

I always try to clean up the web code as much as I can to get it right. CSS is the way to go though.
