I still don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing.

I had a review done on my site a couple days ago. Now that listing is ranked third on a keyword that I was shooting for.

How is he already listed at #3 and I am on the twentieth page.

I have been going full force on my seo the last two months. Will it take time for me to rise up in the listings?

I am just sitting on the twentieth page the last two weeks. I submitted to the yahoo directory tonight and I have been getting quite a few contextual links lately. I hoping this will pay off over the next two years.

maybe its not so bad that the review is ranked higher than me in the serps.

It's a good thing

The aim of the game is to get exposure. And you're (effectively) number #3.
That's great exposure. The people paying for Adwords are probably paying a lot more than you did, to appear further to the right!

Now, track the visitors coming directly from that link. Are they worthwhile visitors? Do they buy from you?

If so, then no complaints.

If not, then the ranking isn't worth chasing.

Thats good stuff man, with that site ranking high that tells you its got some kind of value, buy more contextual links, it will take several of them to get you ranking higher and depending on the keyword phrase .

Contextual links are the best
