Help with ranking my page

Hi can anyone help me,
I have been trying to optimise a page on my site to try and get it on the first page of the search engines for the keyword Packeteer,

I have managed to get it to the first page in google.co.uk and msn.co.uk.
its moving quite well with building links on the .com of google and msn but it is not showing at all in any of the yahoo .co.uk and .com sites,
Can anyone tell me why? Please.

Showing up in the regional SERPs, but not US SERPS is due mostly to two factors:

Regional domain
Inbound linking from regional sites and directory categories

.com is the default "region" for the US. So, if you target the US, it's best to have a .com, although not strictly necessary.

Thanks but that doesn't help me with why i am not showing up at all in yahoo?
this is my real worry at the moment.
